The game is developed by JP GAMES, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Hajime Tabata) based on a game project commissioned and co-developed by Quantum Solutions.
JP GAMES is responsible for the overall planning and development of "JEWEL", utilizing their in-house developed middleware "PEGASUS WORLD KIT". It will continue the game's development based on this prototype.
Background of JEWEL’s Development
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced to advance its position in global gaming and e-sports leadership.
By 2030, the country aims to establish 250 game companies and studios domestically, create 39,000 jobs in the gaming sector, rank among the top three countries in terms of professional gamers per capita, and produce blockbuster "AAA games".
Quantum Solutions, considering the expansion of the gaming market in Saudi Arabia and the government's sponsorship of the gaming industry, is innovating game development by leveraging its expertise in AI-driven hardware and software solutions to advance the Kingdom's gaming ecosystem. As part of this initiative Quantum Solutions signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Ministry of Investment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in March 2024, aiming to advance the Kingdom's game IPs assets and know-how.
